I am a designer who likes code and solving puzzles. Hi.

As a seasoned UI designer with over two decades of experience, spanning from graphic design to cutting-edge digital interfaces, I have a passion in simplifying the intricate – whether it's user flows, interfaces, or code.

I also believe in ownership and the power of diverse and multidisciplinary teams, so I would call myself a team player by heart.

That‘s me. The story begins.

I was born and raised in Vienna. I studied Graphic Design and started my first jobs as a Graphic Designer.

In the nineties the web wasn‘t so spectacular when it came to interaction design, and when I found out how to make a simple roll over effect I became so excited, that I continued doing it. I started programming little things in the script language lingo (which was used to produce interactive cd rom‘s).

Then I got addicted to moving things around on the screen and started playing around with After Effects to do my first animations. So I got hired not only as a graphic and web designer, but also as a motion designer.

For my first Web Design Job I went to Hamburg, where I stayed over a year, finally moved to Berlin and started working as a freelancer.

What I always liked about feelancing are the variety of solutions and ideas you have to come up to face the different challenges. You‘re never standing still because you‘ll always end up doing something you‘ve never done before. Web and technology change rapidly and so are you.

So I learned Lingo, PHP, Javascript, Actionscript, Html, Css, Ruby, Rails, react, adopted to a variety of tools like Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Flash, After Effects, Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma, to mention a few …. And my code editor is still my best friend.

Thats my work.

After a decade of freelancing for agencies and clients (visit my old website) I've been working in Team and as Co-manager with GIVE ME A HUG for a couple of years. We've been developing web based products in the domain of language technology. See my work from that period.

In 2016 I've dedicated myself to fortifying health systems in West Africa, joining eHealth Africa, a Nigerian NGO. There, I seamlessly blended my software design, development, and management skills in a collaborative environment. As a design lead, I played the dual role of a mentor and advisor, contributing to the creation of mobile applications for patients and electronic medical record systems for EHA clinics in Nigeria.
